Jaguar Programmes

XJ6
XJ40 (XJ6)
An early programme, with vacuum forming tools for the instrument panel (LHD & RHD), instrument binnacle, glovebox roll and associated foaming tools. The tools were simple and manually operated, using counterweights to assist tool opening.
XK8
X100 (XK8)
Foam tool and nickel skin tools were made for the IP, glovebox and steering column cover. The instrument panel foaming tool was fitted in a freestanding manipulator and introduced motorised moving blocks and inflatable sealing for gas venting.
XJ8
XJ300 98MY (XJ8)
XJ40 "facelift" programme. The foam tools for the instrument panel were the last of the completely manual tools manufactured.
S Type
X200 (S-Type)
The programme required a pair of instrument panel skin and foam tools and glovebox lid tools. The IP tools utilised a more operator-friendly system, positioning the tool for easier loading and an eject assist for easier part unloading.
X-Type
X400 (X-Type)
For this programme, we were responsible for project managing the production and supply of bumper panels for the X-Type "Baby Jaguar".
XKR
Supercharged XKR
Project management of tooling and production of front and rear bumpers, side skirts and rear spoiler. As with the X-Type programme, the project involved all aspects from manufacture to Just-In Time supply.
